i recently celebrated my birthday at the bay and it completely exceeded my previous experience when i stayed here last year. the room was super cozy, and the home-cooked food was absolutely delightful, especially the lamb shank. the staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel so special on my birthday.

The beds were super cozy, making it easy to sleep well. Just a heads up, the creaky floorboards could be a bit distracting when moving around. it felt charming and homey, definitely a pleasant stay!

This place is a proper fit for a quick stopover in Thirsk with great value. The breakfast was fantastic and filling, which was a highlight of our stay. Just make sure to book in advance as it can get busy.
